Splunk Experience
My journey with Splunk spans several impactful roles where I have consistently demonstrated my ability to optimize and enhance security operations. As a Principal Sales Engineer for the Dutch Government at Splunk, I successfully guided multiple Security Operations Centers (SOCs) in adopting and integrating Splunk solutions. This involved leading comprehensive training sessions to elevate analysts' proficiency with Splunk tools, fine-tuning detection rules to maximize threat identification, and minimizing false positives. Additionally, I developed Splunk integrations and customer prototypes, automating workflows using Python, Tines, Palo Alto XOAR, and Splunk Phantom.
In my role as a Senior Sales Engineer at SpyCloud, I was instrumental in creating Splunk integrations that automated critical workflows, significantly improving threat detection mechanisms. My position required close collaboration with SOCs to address intelligence-related issues and continuously refine intelligence tools using SOC feedback and SpyCloud data.

Beyond my Splunk-centric roles, I possess extensive experience with various security tools and technologies. My work frequently involves bridging the gap between domain expertise in security and value consulting. I have effectively helped customers understand the business case for their investments in security tools, provided enablement for subject matter experts, and spearheaded numerous field development initiatives to enhance the proof of value experience.

I am adept at building automated systems, leveraging tools such as GitLab and Ansible in enterprise environments to streamline deployment and maintenance processes.
